One More Birthday: Todd

It's been a big week for birthdays with one to celebrate here nearly everyday and today is no exception. It's Todd Rundgren's turn now and we marked the occasion with a side from his acclaimed early album, Something/Anything?, released in early 1972.

Todd recorded most of the album himself(Sides 1-3)through the miracle of overdubbing which helped to further his reputation as a real studio whiz. The songs were certainly quality although Todd took time to mess around here and there with an occasional throwaway track in the name of fun! We listened to Side 2 with its semi-classic "sounds of the studio" intro.

Next week...a nice, varied lineup of Paul Simon, Bob Seger, Cat Stevens, The Police and Deep Purple.
