In Celebration of Zeppelin
Posted:Monday, 12/10/2012 at 04:12am by Greg Easterling
This morning we began our brand new week of Overnight Album Sides with Led Zeppelin. They reunited on this date back in 2007 to play the tribute concert for Ahmet Ertegun, the founder of Atlantic Records, their longtime label.

The concert took place at London's O2 Arena and a DVD/CD set of this historic performance was recently released back in mid-October. Originals Page, Plant and Jones were joined onstage by John Bonham's son, Jason on drums.

Today we featured Zeppelin's spring of '73 release, Houses Of The Holy, a fine album that did well, hitting #1 for two weeks, spending a total of 39 weeks in the Top Forty album chart and selling gold in the process. We heard Side 1 this time, highlighted by "The Rain Song" and "Over The Hills and Far Away".
