The Last...until 2013
Posted:Monday, 12/24/2012 at 03:12am by 0
We finished up our year of Overnight Album Sides this morning. Of course, it's not actually the end of 2012 yet but I'll be gone until January 2nd so our late night vinyl feature will be on hiatus until then.

For no particular reason, we featured Bachman-Turner Overdrive and their rockin' 1975 release, Four Wheel Drive. The title makes sense...there were four musicians in the band, two of them brothers, lead guitarist Randy Bachman and drummer Rob Bachman. Four Wheel Drive was the third consecutive Top Five album for BTO and their final one to achieve that status. We listened to Side 1 this time which included the title track plus "Hey You".

We'll look for you in 2013 here in the wee hours as we start our new year on 1/2 with Alan Parsons followed that week by Neil Young and Dave Mason. See ya then!
