Bridge of Sighs

We began our first full week of Overnight Album Sides for 2013 with a real rock guitar classic this morning.

It was Robin Trower and his second solo effort, Bridge of Sighs, definately a five star record and Trower's finest. Robin combined his love of Jimi Hendrix with the power trio format favored by both Hendrix and Cream to create one of the most memorable heavy guitar albums of the early-mid Seventies. The vocals were sung by bassist James Dewar who made a major contribution to the overall sound of the album as well. We tracked Side 2 leading off with the great track, "Too Rolling Stoned".
