Ladies and Gentlemen...The Rolling Stones!
Posted:Friday, 01/11/2013 at 04:01am by Greg Easterling
The Stones have as many different greatest hits albums as other bands have regular releases. But then again, they are the world's greatest rock and roll band for a reason!

In the Sixties there were two American greatest hits records....High Tide and Green Grass and Through The Past Darkley. Then in the early Seventies, Hot Rocks and More Hot Rocks covered nearly all the songs from the previous releases plus rarities since both updates were double albums.

Later in the Seventies, there was Made in the Shade on the Stones' own imprint label and after that came the subject of yesterday's feature, Sucking In The Seventies(1981) which pulled songs from Some Girls, Black and Blue and It's Only Rock and Roll plus several live cuts and B sides.
Side 2 included a live version of "When The Whip Comes Down" and "If I Were a Dancer(Dance, Part Two.)"
