Finishing Up with Fleetwood Mac
Posted:Friday, 01/18/2013 at 03:01am by Greg Easterling
We wrapped up our week of overnight album sides this time with Fleetwood Mac, one of the most successful bands in rock history.

In 1973 though, they weren't close to that level despite being around since the mid Sixties. And while Fleetwood Mac was no longer the blues inspired outfit led by Brit guitar hero Peter Green, this incarnation of the band was making some very nice sounding music due to the continuing contributions of singer-guitarist Bob Welch and keyboardist/vocalist Christine McVie, both of whom wrote most of Fleetwood Mac's original songs. This morning we featured Mystery To Me, a solid '73 release with great tracks such as "Emerald Eyes" and "Hypnotized".
