Quadrophenia
Posted:Friday, 01/25/2013 at 04:01am by Greg Easterling
We finished the week with one of The Who's greatest recorded accomplishments. It was their 1973 "rock opera", Quadrophenia, written and composed by Pete Townshend, based on the band's involvement with the 1960's British teen movement known as the Mods, many of whom were fans.

Quadrophenia contains a number of classic songs and we heard a couple("5:15", "Bell Boy") as we tracked Side 3 this time.

Next week: sides from UFO, ELP, Beatles, Traffic and Jackson Browne.
