Celebrating Peter Gabriel
Posted:Thursday, 02/14/2013 at 04:02am by Greg Easterling
It was another birthday salute Wednesday, this time for Peter Gabriel, definately one of the most creative figures in rock over the last few decades.

From his early theatrical days with Genesis to a long running solo career, Gabriel has pushed the boundaries of rock, fusing it with world music, electronic innovations and socially conscious themes. His biggest commercial success story was the So album in 1986. Hits like "Sledgehammer", "In Your Eyes" and "Big Time" garnered major video and radio airplay in the heyday of MTV. We tracked Side 1 this time, revisiting "That Voice Again" and "Red Rain".
