Live Bullet from Bob Seger
Posted:Tuesday, 02/19/2013 at 03:02am by Greg Easterling
This morning we entertained ourselves with Bob Seger and the 1976 release that set the stage for Bob's entrance into the big time the next year with Night Moves.

Live Bullet is a great summary of Seger's early years with updates of Sixties hits like "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" and "Heavy Music" plus rocking covers of songs originally by Ike and Tina Turner, Van Morrison and Bo Diddley. Not to mention other Seger originals that went on to become FM radio classics such as "Turn The Page" and "Katmandu".

Recorded live at Detroit's Cobo Hall in September of 1975, Live Bullet showcases the Silver Bullet Band and their intrepid leader Seger most definately ready for prime time. This morning we tracked Side 2 with Seger's "Turn The Page" and "U.M.C." bookended by Morrison's "I've Been Working" and "Bo Diddley".
