Chilling overnight with the Moody Blues
Posted:Friday, 02/22/2013 at 04:02am by Greg Easterling
We finished up a full week of late night vinyl this morning with one of our longtime faves. It was The Moody Blues, whose classic concepts and seamless transitions between songs make their music perfect for late night FM radio listening.

Today we treated ourselves to their 1969 album On The Threshold Of A Dream, the third record delivered by the classic lineup of the band. It touched the Top Twenty over here and continued to build an audience for the Moodies' brand of literate, classically influenced, sometimes psychedelic leaning rock. We listened to Side 1 today and songs like "Lovely To See You", "Dear Diary" and "Send Me No Wine".
