Aerosmith Rocks The Drive
Posted:Saturday, 03/16/2013 at 07:03am by Greg Easterling
We featured Aerosmith this week on The Drive and on Thursday we spotlighted their spring of '76 release simply entitled Rocks. It was the follow-up to the popular Toys In The Attic album; Rocks displayed the Aerosmith at its most raw, even darker and denser than ever before.

Rocks also turned out to be one of the last great Aerosmith albums for awhile as subsequent releases seemed hobbled by the band's descent into lifestyle related problems and internal dissension that led to the eventual departure of Joe Perry and the band's breakup for a few years. We listened to Side 2 this time, including "Sick As A Dog" and "Get The Lead Out".
