Remembering Jerry
Posted:Friday, 08/09/2013 at 03:08am by Greg Easterling
We're looking back to 1995 this morning and the day we lost Jerry Garcia, certainly one of the most influential American musicians of our time and founding member of the Grateful Dead.

We tracked a side from In The Dark, the most successful later Dead album, released in 1987 and source of the unexpected hit single, "Touch Of Grey". Not that the Dead needed it, but it was a great late career validation for one of the alltime American bands. We listened to Side 1 which kicked off with "TOG" followed by Jerry's lead vocals and unmistakable guitar leads on "When Push Comes To Shove" and "West L.A. Fadeaway".
