Monday, September 12: Rush
A couple from 2008's Snakes & Arrows Live on drummer/lyricist Neil Peart's birthday. When asked about the Rush documentary, Beyond the Lighted Stage, by Rolling Stone, singer/bassist Geddy Lee said, "It's hard for me to watch myself up on the screen, talking for two hours. It's kind of nice to see other people talking about us in a kind of objective sense. I was pretty amazed that certain people are Rush fans, like Billy Corgan, for example. He was really well-spoken in the film, and seems to really understand where we're coming from."

Tuesday, September 13: The Rolling Stones
It'll be cool to hear the Stones rock Brussels, Belgium in 1973, a year from which no live Stones album emerged. Thanks, Wolfgang's Vault! Meanwhile the 21st century Stones got tongues wagging about a 2012 tour when all 4 were photographed leaving a London hotel last week.

Wednesday, September 14: Talking Heads
Two from the soundtrack of their excellent 1984 concert film Stop Making Sense. As good as it, and director Jonathan Demme, is, the shooting over 3 nights in L.A. resulted in a few continuity errors, including Tina Weymouth's bass changing from a blue 5-string to a brown 4-string from shot to shot in the same song.

Thursday, September 15: Creedence Clearwater Revival
Earlier this summer CCR main man John Fogerty spoke to the Calgary Herald about the possibility of a band reunion: "Never say never is I guess what people tell you. In this life, all kind of strange things come to pass. Realizing it doesn't kick up a big firestorm of emotion, it kind of suggests that at least if someone started talking I'd sit still long enough to listen."

Friday, September 16: The Story Of Eric Clapton
