Stuff Lennon missed (that he actually might have cared about...):

Ghandi's murder in '84
Tainanmen Square
The Exxon Valdez
Bhopal
The invasion of the Falklands
Chernobyl

and maybe the location of the Titanic, or the introduction of the concept of PG-13. Maybe?

He didn't experience the Black Crowes' music. He probobly didn't experience U2 or Stevie Ray Vaughn either. Wonder what his reaction would have been to the Cirque du Soleil "Love" show would be.

Nirvana. I think John & Kurt would have become soulmates. But no matter, they are probably together up there now.

John Lennon gave so much musically, spiritually, and culturally. He impacted our lives and continues to do so. He never experienced global warming or aging gracefully while still feeling rebellious.

First thing I think of was what (selfishly) I first was upset about when I heard of his death. WE never experienced the reuniting of the Beatles. Even in 1980, I had hopes and it could have happened

THE CUB'S 1984 PLAYOFF RUN WHICH ENDED IN MISERY. THE CUB'S 1989 PLAYOFF RUN WITH THE SAME RESULT, ALTHOUGH NOT NEARLY AS HEARTBREAKING AS 1984'S DEBACLE. THE CUB'S IN 1998 & 2003,SAME RESULT.
