Mike said... I'm proud to also say I've never seen Am.Idol(itry). At least Ted Mack tried to have real talent. RealityTV programs to the lowest common socioeconomic group and, I believe, the fans prove this out.

Rita said... Exactly. If anyone can buy his or her way to the top, then who needs reality t.v. aside from the advertisers? If we believed in advertising, the only relevant age group would be 18-34.

Peggy said... Never watch that stuff. The kids are watching because they've never seen anything else. The people we have to thank for all the reality shows are the TV stars that needed to get 5 million or some other ridiculous amount per episode. Reality shows are a lot cheaper to produce so I think they're here to stay. Forget about Am Scandal and tune in to the Discovery channel.

Cochise said... I'm still extracting my foot-from-mouth over how weak K.Clarkson sang.(the daughter's fave) There is something to be said for Top Model...just don't know what! Ratings are irrelevant.

Rich said... I share your opinion. One the otherhand,What is the name of the show? American Idol not Americas best singer. Sanjia although laked singing talent had some quality that the voters idolized.

randy said... I DON'T WATCH AMERICAN IDOL MAINLY BECAUSE OF SIMON.... WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO MEAN??? BUT I KNOW SOME PEOPLE THAT LOVE AMERICAN IDOL, BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. SIMON IS A BAD ROLE MODEL.
