John said... Just like to thank Bob and everyone who has worked on this project through the years for all the wonderful music provided, especially from the local bands. Your efforts are greatly appreciated. |

Annette said... If you haven’t yet purchased this latest CD in the series, I heartily suggest you do! It IS perfect! This is an awesome compilation CD, one of the best. We are so grateful to Bob Stroud for compiling such terrific music every year—songs that no doubt would be lost and forgotten, for inviting the Stroud Crowd to fun and entertaining release parties, and bonus—for benefiting charities that do great works in the area. Don’t miss this one—you’ll love it. It IS “a wonderful thing that we have” and we are very lucky that Bob Stroud shares his knowledge and passion for the music with us. Just another great thing about Chicago. Thanks, Bob! |

Paul Fava said... Thank you for playing the music we love & thanks for the 45 @ 1:45 for Michael last week. Although I was not a true fan of Mr. Jackson's, I did appreciate his creativity & his truly spectacular dance moves. He rivaled the great Fred Astaire like no one else. He was a troubled soul with a questionable life style but he will live forever in his music. Neverland will be his memorial just as Graceland belongs to Elvis. He will always be there. On a brighter note I am looking forward to #10. I'd like to see a grand opening @ the Sharkie's pool hall in Glendale Hts as you had done for #2. Paul,Dori & Donatella |
