Pete Ham of the group Badfinger, committed suicide. He was just 27 years old. Pete co-wrote the hit song, 'Without You' with his band mate Tom Evans. Their song won the Ivor Novello award for International Hit Of The Year in 1972, and was also a hit for Mariah Carey and Harry Nilsson. Ham was a founding member of The Iveys, who later became known as Badfinger, and were signed to the Apple label.
