Evanston Jazz Festival
It's the North Shore's hottest day of cool jazz - the 9th annual Evanston Jazz Festival, at Evanston Township High School. The all-day event, Saturday February 11th, is filled with lively performances by student bands from around the Midwest, and culminates with a sizzling 7:30 p.m. show - electrifying orchestral jazz from trumpeter Orbert Davis' Chicago Jazz Philharmonic. Evening performance tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students and seniors, a $50 family pass covers 2 adults and up to four children.
