The March of Dimes is making progress! America's pre-term birth rate has gone down for six years in a row and is now at an all-time low. But there's still much work to be done to give more babies a healthy start to life. Join the March for Babies! Charity Spotlight

It's been called the premier athletic event in the southwest suburbs. Join The Drive at the First Midwest Half Marathon and a half-mile Walk, Run or Roll race for those with special needs. It's happening at Route 83 & 76th Avenue in Palos Heights, on Sunday morning, May 4th. The event raises money for American Cancer Society for Prostate Cancer Research, the South West Special Recreation Association and Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens.
