Give 'Em Shelter Benefit - Animal Care League

Support the Animal Care League's work with homeless animals. Attend the Give 'Em Shelter Benefit on Sept. 24th, 6-10 p.m. at Primitive Gallery in Chicago. Join The Drive's Kathy Voltmer for live music, food, drinks, wine tasting, the presentation of the 2010 Animal Advocate Award to Lynne 'Angel' Harvey and your chance to win a 2010 Mercedes Benz. Make a difference in the lives of the 210,000 Illinois residents living with Alzheimer's disease! The Alzheimer's Association - Greater Illinois Chapter will host 15 walks in 2010. Join The Drive for the Chicago Memory Walk on Saturday morning, Sept. 11 at Lincoln Park South Field and on Saturday morning, October 9th for the Schaumburg Memory Walk at Busse Woods Forest Preserve.     DuPage Senior Citizens Council 
   Over 1,500 seniors in DuPage County rely on the DuPage Senior Citizens Council for nutritious meals each day. Volunteers are urgently needed to deliver meals Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Routes take about an hour and driving directions are provided. Volunteer daily, weekly, or as a substitute.
