Save-A-Pet no-kill rescue and adoption center in Grayslake, Illinois provides a safe haven for abused, neglected, injured, or lost dogs and cats, never rejecting an animal due to age, health, breed, or temperament. Since 1972, Save-A-Pet has saved over 40,000 lives. The fantastic Tuxedos for Tails Dinner & Auction on Saturday, November 8 raises critical funds necessary for Save-A-Pet to continue saving lives and expanding families. Volunteers are urgently needed to deliver meals Monday - Friday, 10:30 a.m. - 12 p.m. Routes take about an hour and driving directions are provided. Volunteer daily, weekly, or as a substitute.
