Make a difference in the lives of the 210,000 Illinois residents living with Alzheimer's disease! The Alzheimer's Association - Greater Illinois Chapter will host 15 walks in 2010. Join The Drive for the Chicago Memory Walk on Saturday morning, Sept. 11 at Lincoln Park South Field and on Saturday morning, October 9th for the Schaumburg Memory Walk at Busse Woods Forest Preserve. Programs offered by H.O.M.E. include the only free citywide moving and furniture donation program, free shopping transportation services, volunteer services, upkeep and repair services for elderly homeowners in the city of Chicago, and assistance to elderly CHA residents during the Senior Housing Rehabilitation Initiative.
