| | Naperville Pooch Walk for the Homeless |
| | Volunteers are needed for the Naperville Pooch Walk for the Homeless, to be held September 24, 2005 to benefit the Franciscan Outreach Association. This event is a picnic and a mile and a half walk with a dog being held at the Grand Pavillion and Riverwalk in historic downtown Naperville. The day includes the 1.5 mile walk, a DJ, pictures with your dog, a pet blessing, food, silent auction, goodie bags, and much, much more. Proceeds of the event will be used to support the programs at Franciscan Outreach Association, a 250 bed homeless shelter, soup kitchen, and case management programs in Chicago.
