Miller Lite Free Rides
Saturday November 21, 2009 - Friday January 01, 2010

To promote safe celebrations and prevent drunk driving, "Miller Lite Free Rides" will offer local consumers free evening service throughout the city on double-decker buses every Saturday this holiday season. Additional service will be provided on New Year's Eve and New Year's Day. Buses will travel on a looped route throughout the city, with stops including the Loop, River North, Old Town, Lincoln Park, busy 'L' stops and more.     Naperville Pooch Walk for the Homeless 
   Volunteers are needed for the Naperville Pooch Walk for the Homeless, to be held September 24, 2005 to benefit the Franciscan Outreach Association. This event is a picnic and a mile and a half walk with a dog being held at the Grand Pavillion and Riverwalk in historic downtown Naperville. The day includes the 1.5 mile walk, a DJ, pictures with your dog, a pet blessing, food, silent auction, goodie bags, and much, much more. Proceeds of the event will be used to support the programs at Franciscan Outreach Association, a 250 bed homeless shelter, soup kitchen, and case management programs in Chicago.
