March for Babies 2014
Sunday April 27, 2014 - Saturday May 10, 2014
The March of Dimes is making progress! America's pre-term birth rate has gone down for six years in a row and is now at an all-time low. But there's still much work to be done to give more babies a healthy start to life. Join the March for Babies! Walk for a baby you love and help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. Walks take place throughout Chicago and the suburbs. To join a walk near you, CLICK HERE.
It's been called the premier athletic event in the southwest suburbs. Join The Drive at the First Midwest Half Marathon and a half-mile Walk, Run or Roll race for those with special needs. It's happening at Route 83 & 76th Avenue in Palos Heights, on Sunday morning, May 4th. The event raises money for American Cancer Society for Prostate Cancer Research, the South West Special Recreation Association and Lake Katherine Nature Center and Botanic Gardens.
