Save-A-Pet no-kill rescue and adoption center in Grayslake, Illinois provides a safe haven for abused, neglected, injured, or lost dogs and cats, never rejecting an animal due to age, health, breed, or temperament. Since 1972, Save-A-Pet has saved over 40,000 lives. The fantastic Tuxedos for Tails Dinner & Auction on Saturday, November 8 raises critical funds necessary for Save-A-Pet to continue saving lives and expanding families. They are currently looking for Patient Visit Volunteers who visit patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities, or by being a supportive presence.
