Junior League of Chicago Jungle Jam

Gather the family for a day at the jungle while raising necessary funding for the Junior League of Chicago! It's the Junior League Jungle Jam, with jungle-themed carnival games and crafts, a live hands-on reptile and amphibian show, fun activity stations, a raffle, pizza and more. It's happening at St. Stanislaus Kostka School at 1255 N. Noble in Chicago on Saturday, January 31st from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The events activities are aimed for children ages 2-12. The Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation warms hearts once again this February with the eighth annual 'Be My Valentine' Family Event on Sunday, February 8th, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago. The event will feature special performances by DJ Kareen and other local music talent, a family brunch buffet and Valentine's Day activities for children. They are currently looking for Patient Visit Volunteers who visit patients to provide companionship and support through conversation, leisure activities, or by being a supportive presence.
