Join The Drive at Moving Day Chicago 2014

Help do whatever it takes to beat Parkinson's disease! Join The Drive at the 3rd Annual National Parkinson Foundation's Moving Day Chicago, to raise awareness and funds for research, treatment, and outreach. This family-friendly event is in Chicago's Lincoln Park, on Sunday morning, October 19. Don't want to walk? Come anyway - there's lots to do in the Movement Pavilion, Resource Pavilion, and kids' area. Maybe you can even get a free massage! For more information, CLICK HERE.

Charity Spotlight

Put on your Halloween costume and take part in the 'Halloween Hustle' 5 K Fun Run and Walk, supporting the work of Fathers Helping Fathers. Join The Drive in historic downtown Palatine, on Eric Drive just north of Colfax on Saturday morning, October 25th - and stick around for a festive after-race party at Durty Nellie's Pub.    RAINBOWS is a not-for-profit, international organization that offers training and curricula for establishing peer support groups in churches, synagogues, schools or social agencies. These curricula are available for children and adults of all ages and religious denominations who are grieving a death, divorce or any other painful transition in their family.

    Remember Mike 
   Michael Ross passed away on Feb.7, 2011. He had survived a traumatic brain injury from an accident in 1989. Mike attended Camp Wilderness Endeavor, an overnight camp sponsored by the Brain Injury Assoc. of IL. Mike participated in horseback riding, swimming, canoeing, archery, etc. Let's remember Mike by creating fundraising events to raise $$ for the BIA of IL.
