March for Babies 2014

The March of Dimes is making progress! America's pre-term birth rate has gone down for six years in a row and is now at an all-time low. But there's still much work to be done to give more babies a healthy start to life. Join the March for Babies! Walk for a baby you love and help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. Walks take place throughout Chicago and the suburbs. To join a walk near you, CLICK HERE.

Hop on over to the Bunny Rock Half Marathon & 5K to benefit PAWS Chicago. Join The Drive at Arvey Field in Grant Park on Saturday, April 19th at 9:00am. Complete with 80's rock music throughout the course, family activities like an egg hunt and petting zoo, an after-party at Bar Louie and more. For information, CLICK HERE.

   You can help bring the magic of reading and the love and respect for animals to kids in need! Volunteer for Sit Stay Read, an organization that partners specially trained reading assistance dogs with children learning to read in Chicago area schools, libraries and community facilities.    Special olympics provides year-round sports training and competition in several different Olympic type events for children (8+) and adults with mental retardatuion or closely related disabilities.
