The March of Dimes is making progress! America's pre-term birth rate has gone down for six years in a row and is now at an all-time low. But there's still much work to be done to give more babies a healthy start to life. Join the March for Babies! Walk for a baby you love and help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies. Walks take place throughout Chicago and the suburbs. To join a walk near you, CLICK HERE.

Charity Spotlight

Hop on over to the Bunny Rock Half Marathon & 5K to benefit PAWS Chicago. Join The Drive at Arvey Field in Grant Park on Saturday, April 19th at 9:00am. Complete with 80's rock music throughout the course, family activities like an egg hunt and petting zoo, an after-party at Bar Louie and more. For information, CLICK HERE.

   The Mount Prospect Jaycees are a young people's leadership and community service group for people between the ages of 21 to 40. They have great community service events as well as social ones.     Youth Crossroads Inc. - Connections Program 
   Youth Crossroads Inc.'s Connections Program is looking for teen-age, college-age, and adult volunteers who have an interest in working with 6th, 7th, and 8th grade youth. Volunteer responsibilities include building healthly relationships through interaction in activities with youth, assisting youth with homework, role modeling positive behavior, helping to coordinate group activities. Volunteer requirements are being at least 16 years of age, committing to at least 1 day a week, completion of an application, references and training, and completion of a criminal background check (for volunteers 18 years of age and older).
